That said, plenty of scheme drivers still come to us for an MOT, for advice, or for work outside the lease, and once a car is yours to keep we're happy to look after it fully. If you're not sure what applies, just ask and we'll point you the right way.

The Motability Scheme lets people who receive a qualifying mobility allowance exchange part of that allowance to lease a brand-new car, wheelchair-accessible vehicle, scooter or powered wheelchair. It's built to make getting around easier for disabled drivers and passengers.

The lease typically includes things like insurance, breakdown cover and routine servicing, which is why some maintenance is handled through the Scheme. We're happy to help with anything that falls outside that.

We've made access as easy as we can. There's parking right by the door, level access into reception, and a team happy to give you a hand and take things at your pace. If you have a particular requirement, tell us when you book and we'll do our best to accommodate it.

Yes. We carry out MOT testing in St Helens and can book you in at a time that suits. If any advisories or work come up, we explain them clearly and, where the vehicle is on the Scheme, we'll flag anything that might be covered through it rather than charged to you.

Absolutely, and lots of our customers are in exactly that position. Ex-Motability cars are often low-owner, well-kept vehicles, and once the lease has ended they're yours to service and repair wherever you like. We can pick up the servicing, MOT and any repairs from there.

Yes. For work that falls outside a Motability lease, or on a car you own outright, our Payment Assist option lets you spread the cost over 3, 4 or 6 monthly payments at 0% interest, with no hard credit check for bills up to £1,000.
