Why choose mobile tyre fitting in Liverpool?

Nobody plans their day around a flat tyre. Mobile tyre fitting Liverpool takes the whole errand off your plate: instead of driving to a garage and sitting about, a fully-equipped van comes to wherever you are. You carry on with work, the school run or a coffee while the job gets done on your own driveway.

It is also the safer option. Driving even a few miles on a flat, a slow puncture or a tyre with a sidewall bulge risks a cracked alloy at best and a blowout at worst. If a tyre is clearly not roadworthy, leaving the car where it is and calling us out is the sensible move — not nursing it to a depot across the city.

Our mobile units carry the same heavy-duty tyre changers and balancers we use at our main base, so you get proper workshop-quality fitting at your door. Every tyre is balanced on-site so your steering stays smooth and the new rubber wears evenly.

How mobile tyre fitting Liverpool works

It is genuinely straightforward. Tap through the three things worth knowing before you book — how the visit runs, what we can fit, and how we handle emergencies and vans.

From call to fitted

  • Tell us your tyre size — it is on the sidewall, something like 205/55 R16.
  • Give us your postcode and where the car will be — home, work or roadside.
  • We bring the tyres to you and change them on-site, balancing every wheel before we finish.
  • You do not have to stand and watch — as long as we have access and the locking wheel nut key, you can crack on with your day.

Brands and budgets

We fit everything from premium names like Michelin, Continental and Pirelli to solid mid-range options such as Davanti and Hankook, plus dependable budget tyres to see an older car through. Choose premium or mid-range and you also get free puncture repair for life on that tyre.

Want to compare sizes and prices before we come out? You can buy tyres online and pick a fitting slot, and spread the cost with our pay-monthly plans.

Roadside and fleet work

Punctures never happen at a convenient time. If you are stranded, tell us your location and tyre size and we will get a van to you as quickly as our schedule allows. If a job is too big for the roadside, we can arrange collection.

For businesses, downtime is money. We swap van and fleet tyres on-site while the vehicle is loaded or during a lunch break, so your drivers keep moving. It is the same idea as our mobile tyre fitting in St Helens, extended right across Merseyside.

⚡ Do you need a mobile fitter today?

Pick the one that sounds most like your car — you will get an instant steer.

No rush ✅

Sounds healthy. Do the 20p test and keep an eye on your pressures — if you would rather have a set of eyes on them, book a check whenever suits.

Worth planning in

If the tread is heading toward 1.6mm it is time to sort new tyres before they fail an MOT or let you down. Pick a mobile slot at your convenience.

Get it looked at soon

A slow puncture rarely fixes itself and can leave you flat overnight. We will come out, find the cause and either repair or replace it on-site.

Do not drive on it 🚨

A flat, a bulge or a blowout means the car should stay put. Leave it where it is and call us — we will come to you and get you safely back on the road.

Same-day and emergency tyre replacement

When you need a tyre, you usually need it now. We prioritise same-day and next-day mobile tyre fitting Liverpool wide, so a puncture on the way to work does not have to write off your whole day. Give us the tyre size and your location and we will get to you as fast as the day allows.

It covers more than cars, too. We fit tyres to vans, motorhomes, caravans and light commercials, and every wheel is balanced on the spot. If the damage is on the sidewall rather than the tread, be aware that it cannot be safely repaired — that tyre will need replacing.

Do the 20p test

Push a 20p coin into the tread grooves. If you can see the outer band of the coin, your tread is likely below the legal 1.6mm and it is time for new tyres. Check the middle and both edges — uneven wear can point to alignment or pressure problems.

A sidewall bulge is a stop-now job

A bulge or blister on the side of a tyre means the internal structure has failed and it could let go at speed. It is an instant MOT failure and a real safety risk — do not drive on it, call us out instead.

Honest pricing and flexible payment

Tyre prices depend entirely on your vehicle, size and the brand you choose, so we will always give you a clear quote before any work starts — no surprises at the end. Choose premium or mid-range and that free puncture repair for life is built in, which quietly saves you money down the line.

If a bigger bill lands at an awkward time, our pay-monthly options let you spread the cost so safety never has to wait for payday. And while we are at it, an MOT with us starts from just £40 if you would rather combine jobs at the workshop.

Know your tyre size before you call

Have the numbers on the sidewall handy — for example 205/55 R16 94V. It means we bring exactly the right tyres first time and get you sorted in one visit.

Stay legal, stay safe

Tyres are the only part of your car that actually touches the road, so worn or damaged rubber affects grip, braking and stopping distances more than almost anything else. The road-safety charity TyreSafe recommends checking tread and pressures at least once a month and before any long trip. A two-minute check now beats a breakdown later.

Where we cover across Liverpool

Mobile tyre fitting in Liverpool takes us out to Bootle, Childwall, Speke, Wavertree and most points between, along with the city centre and the docks. Tell us the postcode when you ring and we will give you a realistic window rather than an optimistic one.

We fit at home and at work. Most workplaces are fine with it as long as the car is somewhere we can get the jack and the machine to it, which usually means a car park rather than a multi-storey.

What to have ready

The tyre size off the sidewall, or the registration if you cannot get to it. If the car is on a locking wheel nut we need the key, and that is the single most common reason a fitting gets delayed. It is usually in the boot with the jack or in the glovebox.

If the wheel is already off and on the spare, say so, because that changes what we bring. And if the tyre went down on a kerb rather than a nail, mention it, since kerb damage often means the wheel wants checking as well as the tyre.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer mobile tyre fitting in Liverpool?

Yes, our mobile tyre fitting service covers Liverpool and the surrounding areas, coming to your home or workplace with the tyres, the fitting machine and a balancer in the van. You choose the tyre, we bring it and fit it on your driveway. Areas we cover include Bootle, Speke, Childwall, Wavertree, Toxteth and Walton. Ring 01744 808586 with your tyre size, or see our Liverpool tyre page.

How much does mobile tyre fitting cost?

Mobile fitting is priced as the tyre plus a fitting charge, and for most customers it works out very close to bringing the car to a depot once you count the time and fuel saved. What moves the price is the tyre itself: size, brand, speed rating and whether it is a run-flat. We quote the total before the van sets off. Ask about spreading the cost when you ring 01744 808586.

Can you fit tyres the same day?

Same-day fitting is available for the common sizes we hold in stock, and for anything else we can usually get it in for the next working day. Ring early and you stand the best chance of a slot that afternoon. Our hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:00 and Saturday morning 9:00 to 12:30, so the earlier the call the better. Check availability on 01744 808586 or through the contact page.

Which areas of Liverpool do you cover?

We cover the city and the wider Merseyside area, including Bootle, Walton, Anfield, Everton, Kensington, Wavertree, Childwall, Allerton, Speke, Garston, Aigburth, Toxteth and Kirkdale, plus Huyton, Halewood and Kirkby. Anything outside that is worth a phone call, as we often travel further for multiple tyres. Our workshop is in St Helens, so see the St Helens tyre centre if you prefer to come to us.

Do you fit performance tyres?

Performance and premium tyres are fitted mobile as readily as budget ones, including low profile sizes, extra load ratings and run-flats where the manufacturer permits fitting. The van carries a balancer, so the wheel is balanced properly rather than left to be sorted later. Correct speed and load ratings are checked against your vehicle. Ring 01744 808586 with the size from the sidewall, or see our tyre range.

What do you need from me before you arrive?

Have the car on a level, private surface such as a driveway or a work car park, with room to work at the corner being changed. The locking wheel nut key is the one thing people forget and the one thing we cannot work around. Keys and access to the vehicle are needed at the start and end. Tell us the tyre size and registration when booking. Full details are on our contact page.

Can you fit tyres on a public road?

Work needs to be on private land such as a driveway or a car park rather than a public highway, for safety and insurance reasons. A vehicle stranded at the roadside is a different situation and is handled as an emergency callout with different arrangements. Tell us where the car is when you ring. See our page on emergency tyre replacement for how that works.

Do you fit tyres 24 hours a day?

Our fitting hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:00 and Saturday 9:00 to 12:30, and we book in as many jobs as we can across those hours rather than promising a service we cannot staff properly. Early morning slots suit most people heading to work. For anything urgent, ring first thing and we will do our best. Contact details and hours are on our contact page, or call 01744 808586.

Can a puncture be repaired instead of replaced?

Repairs are permitted within the central three quarters of the tread for damage up to 6mm, which covers most nails and screws, and a proper repair is a permanent fix. Sidewall damage, cuts and any tyre driven flat must be replaced. The van can carry out repairs as well as fitting. Read what is involved on our puncture repair page before assuming you need a new tyre.

How do I know which tyre size I need?

The size is moulded into the sidewall as a sequence such as 205/55 R16 91V, giving width, profile, rim size, load index and speed rating. Match all of it, particularly the last two, because fitting a lower rating changes how the car behaves and can affect insurance. We confirm the size against your registration as well. Our guide to tyre law and specifications explains what each figure means.

Do you balance the wheels when fitting mobile?

Balancing is done at the roadside on a mobile balancer as part of every fitting, because an unbalanced wheel gives you a vibration through the steering at motorway speed. The wheel nuts are torqued to the manufacturer figure with a wrench rather than a rattle gun. What we cannot do in the van is alignment, so book a free alignment check at the workshop afterwards.

Should I replace all four tyres at once?

Replacing in axle pairs is the practical minimum, since matched tyres across an axle keep braking and grip balanced. Four at once is worth doing when all are close to the limit or on a four wheel drive vehicle, where the manufacturer often insists on it to protect the transmission. We will tell you what your car actually needs. Spreading the cost is straightforward with pay monthly tyres.

Can I pay monthly for mobile tyre fitting?

Yes, 0% Payment Assist applies to mobile tyre work as well as workshop fitting, so a set of four can be split into monthly instalments with nothing extra to pay. The application is quick and the decision immediate, which helps when tyres fail an MOT unexpectedly. Details are on our Payment Assist page. Mention it when you ring 01744 808586 with your tyre size.
